Corvette, and Rolls Royce, and roses, oh my!

Margi & Ojas' wedding at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel was anything but stereotypical!

The historical Park Plaza made a spectacular backdrop for this beautiful wedding. Those who caught a glimpse of the Mandap by Alankar Decorators were totally blown away. The entire structure was covered in fresh roses in various shades of pink with pops of purple. The wonderful aroma of the roses was evident throughout the lobby. The green moss backdrop provided a gorgeous contrast, and the pictures speak for themselves.

Ojas arrived in a brand new 2016 White Stingray Corvette, thanks to New England Corvette, looking sharp and eager to get married to the love of his life.

Even though it was a chilly Sunday morning, the baraat was quickly heated up by our boys from BSL with DJ Ravi on Dhol! Windows of surrounding buildings filled up quickly with spectators as guests danced on the street. The baraatis were welcomed with a refreshing falooda drink along with a popcorn station filled with an assortment of flavorings.

A professional singer was flown in to entertain the guests during the Hindu ceremony. It was truly a feast for the ears. Escorted by her aunts and uncles, Margi walked the 70 foot long raised aisle adorned in a gorgeous white lengha.

A classic 1957 Rolls Royce took the couple away after their wedding as the family bid them farewell.

DJ Jazz, A professional tabla player, created a melodious atmosphere during cocktail hour.

Once the stunning reception ballroom was revealed, guests were left standing in awe of the majestic decor, lighting, and fantastic florals by Table and Tulip. The vibrant colors of whites, blush and lavender gave a whole new look to the historical ballroom.

Margi looked picture perfect in her lavender and eggplant reception lengha and her flawless hair and makeup, by Glow by Herneet. The new couple light up the dance floor with a totally unexpected entrance followed by their first dance on stage filled with dramatic smoke effect. Thuy Pham and the team from Memories Studio captured all those breathtaking moments like only a pro can!

Margi & Ojas' wedding reception also had over an hour of non-stop entertainment from both sides of the family. This included a slide-show of both their lives, a skit of how they met, and a number of foot-tapping dance performances that kept the guests asking for more.

One of the highlights of the night was a four station elaborate dessert buffet by Moghul Catering (NJ) which included an over the top selection of bite size desserts, a kulfi-bar, and a halwa station. The decadent 4 tiered cake by Sweet tooth tasted as good as it looked.

The reception also featured a "Green Screen" by Vernon & Vernon that used images from Margi & Ojas's wedding ceremony earlier in the day, as a backdrop.
