A Spectacular Wedding at Royalton Riviera Cancun: Hazel & Kishan's Unforgettable Celebration

We recently had the pleasure of providing travel planning services for a beautiful 3-day Gujarati wedding for Hazel and Kishan at the breathtaking Royalton Riviera Cancun. With 300 guests flying in from all corners of the globe, this event was nothing short of spectacular.

Day 1: Vidhi and Pithi Ceremony on the Beach & Holi Party

The festivities kicked off with a traditional pithi ceremony on the sun-kissed beaches of Cancun. The bride and groom were covered in a mixture of chickpea flour, turmeric, and rosewater, symbolizing the purification and preparation for their new life together.

As the sun began to set, guests were treated to a vibrant and colorful Holi party, where they playfully smeared colored powders on each other and danced the night away to the sounds of laughter and joy.

Day 2: Sangeet and Garba Outdoors on the Patio

On the second day, the festivities moved to the Royalton Riviera Cancun's picturesque patio for a lively sangeet and garba night. Friends and family showcased their talents and love for the couple through energetic dance performances and heartfelt speeches.

The atmosphere was electric as guests danced the night away under a canopy of twinkling lights, surrounded by the beauty of the Mexican Caribbean.

Day 3: Baraat, Hindu Ceremony, and Formal Reception

The final day of the wedding celebrations began with a lively baraat, where Kishan made a grand entrance on a Mustang, accompanied by the beats of dhol and the cheers of his loved ones.

The Hindu ceremony, led by Pandit Mahesh Shelat, took place in a beautifully decorated mandap adorned with vibrant flowers and traditional Gujarati motifs. The couple exchanged their vows surrounded by family, friends, and the natural beauty of the Royalton Riviera Cancun.

The evening concluded with a formal reception, where guests enjoyed a feast of traditional Indian and Mexican cuisine, followed by a night of dancing and celebration.
