Kashmiri-Gujarati Wedding Extravaganza at the Quincy Marriott
As the wedding planner for Mint To Be Events, I had the privilege of coordinating the stunning two-day celebration for Rashmi and Rushi, a Kashmiri bride and Gujarati groom, at the Quincy Marriott in Massachusetts.
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant Haldi ceremony, where the couple was serenaded by their loving family members as they applied the traditional turmeric paste. To add a unique twist, we brought in a Sal's pizza truck to fuel the joyous occasion.
As the sun set, the Sangeet evening was alive with the vibrant cultures of both the bride and groom. Mesmerizing dance performances by both families set the stage ablaze, as they paid homage to their roots through captivating Garba Raas, Dandia Raas, and the enchanting Kashmiri Chakri.
The second day began with the bride and groom's first look, an intimate and emotional moment that set the tone for the rest of the day. The grand Baraat procession, led by the groom, groomsmen, and the talented DJ Yogz from Boston Sound and Light, set the stage for the Hindu ceremonies that seamlessly blended Gujarati and Kashmiri traditions.
The reception was a visual masterpiece, with a stunning floor wrap, an awe-inspiring backdrop, and a DJ booth elevated to the ceiling above a bar right next to the dance floor. The guests were immersed in a world of elegance and grandeur, dancing the night away to the tunes of the talented DJ.
It was a true testament to the融合of two cultures, as Rashmi and Rushi embarked on their new journey together, surrounded by the love and support of their families. Mint To Be Events was honored to be a part of this unforgettable celebration, and we wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness and success.
